Heart Made of Wind:

This is a collection of songs about taking journeys. It all started with the song Heart Made of Wind, which I wrote for a film called TRUE FANS. Film producer Dan Austin, his brother, and his best friend rode their bikes from coast to coast, bringing with them a basketball which they had friendly and amazing people sign from all over America. They eventually presented it to the Basketball Hall of Fame. The film is fabulous, and has won awards at several festivals. For more information on Dan Austin and his work, visit www.truefans.net.

The song Heart Made of Wind was written as a companion to some of the beautiful footage of these guys riding their bikes past cornfields and into the sunset. Eventually, I wrote some music for some of Dan Austin's other films. I put all of this music together, and added some love songs that also carried the theme of taking journeys and chances, and made this album.
